The IB Career-related Program is a high school program of study prescribed by the International Baccalaureate that is a college and career preparatory program. Students who are committed to the IB Career-related Program must complete at least two courses out of any of the subject groups listed below, complete all 4 elements of the CORE, and choose a career-related study class sequence from the options listed below.

Service Learning
Students will complete 50 hours of Service Learning (SL) over the course of junior and senior year
Language Development
Students will choose a language to study for at least 50 hours over the course of junior and senior year
Personal and Professional Skills
Students will take a Personal and Professional Skills (PPS) class in their 2nd semester of junior year and 1st semester of their senior year
This class focuses on professional development, transferable skills, and completing the other requirements of the CP Core (Service Learning, Language Development & the Reflective Project)
Reflective Project
Students will complete a Reflective Project (RP) focused on an ethical dilemma in their career-related study focus
*Students must take at least 2 IB exams in junior/senior year. At least one of those exams must occur in senior year and be the result of two year IB class (e.g. IB Language & Literature both junior and senior year; IB History of the Americas & IB Modern World History; IB Chemistry 2 and IB Chemistry 3; etc.).
This means that students can choose which Honors courses to take in freshmen and sophomore year, but should plan to continue those as IB courses in junior/senior year.
