United States History is a course designed to further your knowledge and appreciation of our nation's past, present, and future, examining the time periods between exploration and colonization of the Americas through the development of the United States as a world power. Throughout the course, you will develop an understanding of geographic, socio-cultural, economic, and political/governmental experiences that have played a crucial role in shaping the history of our country. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be better prepared to understand the significance our country’s history and will have fulfilled the U.S. History requirement for graduation.
