History

I love teaching history! My journey as an educator has led me to this discovery, and I am proud to be part of the high school Social Studies discipline at VSAA.

The story of our past influences so much of who we are today. Storytelling also connects to me as a Theatre artist. Story is at the core of what makes good drama, and I love to develop the story of the past in my history classroom.

Social Studies at VSAA runs on a two year rotation: for the 2020-2021 school year, we offer United States and AP United States History. This year (2019-2020), we will offer Contemporary World Problems (CWP) and AP Government and Politics (United States and Comparative). Click the link below to find out useful information.
