What is Canvas?
Canvas is a learning management system that allows teachers to post learning resources and instruction online. Teachers can create assignments, share links, upload documents and grade student work within their course.
Teachers and students can access Canvas online at vansd.instructure.com or using the iOS apps. When students login to Canvas, they will see a list of their courses. Teachers post assignments and links to resources for students to explore in these courses. Students can participate in discussions, quizzes, and submit their work to be graded. The Canvas gradebook shows a grade for each assignment that was submitted to Canvas.

Canvas Community: This is the Canvas help site, with lots of folks posting common questions. This is a really helpful place to start if you have a question but can't find immediate help on-site.
