Each Fall, NCWIT offers Aspirations in Computing Award Recognitions that honor aspirations, abilities, technical accomplishments, and influential guidance for 9th-12th grade students who self-identify as women or gender marginalized. https://www.aspirations.org/

Why you should apply for an award
What's in it for you? In addition to being able to put the award on your college applications and resume, there is an awards ceremony in Portland in the spring that is really nice and the students that have been honored in the past have also received a trophy or medallion and some nice swag for attending. Their pictures and a nice bio about them was written up in a keepsake book with all of the other students. The biggest thing that is in it for you is the connection to a network of mentors, scholarships and other opportunities that will come as a result of your participation if you are honored with a regional or national award.
