They should double check spelling and punctuation. Once they complete, they will be able to print.

Assignment 4- students will watch the video and use the skills shown to construct their own timeline. By end of class they should have a slide with the following:
Solid or gradient background- NO PICTURES! The video says you can do an image but I want a solid or gradient background.

Dates in the shapes- first date is date of birth and last date will be date of death (6-8 dates total)
Shapes should be grouped (connected) so you can move the timeline around.

Students will be comparing the 2020 statistics for Arizona State University, University of Arizona and Grand Canyon University basketball teams using Google Sheets. Follow the instructions to complete the assignment. I have given them a hard copy that has all the statistics to make it easier to follow. There is also a digital copy in Google Classroom. Watch the attached video. Make sure you highlight the number on your spreadsheet to answer questions 8-11.

As a whole group, we will discuss Copyright and the importance of giving credit to the creators of pictures. We will discuss sites that they can use images for free but they still need to give credit to the creator. In a school setting, students can use photos for school projects under fair use, but if they use them outside of school they must get permission and give credit.

They will need 2 interesting facts about the area to entice people to want to visit the location as well as 2 websites. They will document their research on a Google Doc and attach it to the assignment. Assignment 5- students will watch my instructional video to gather photos and a map taking into consideration Copyright laws.
