2025-2026 School Year
I’m so excited for Year 7 and can’t wait to see all of you again! I hope you had a wonderful summer and are feeling refreshed and ready for a fantastic school year.
This summer, my husband and I checked off a big item on our bucket list—a trip to Italy! It was an incredible week filled with adventure, history, and, of course, amazing food. We visited so many beautiful places, including Positano, Rome, Pompeii, Florence, Tuscany, and Venice. The history was fascinating, but I have to admit that the delicious food and gelato were definite highlights!
One of the funniest moments happened while we were touring the Colosseum. There was a group of Italian students there on a field trip, and one student walked right up to me and started doing the 6–7 movement. Naturally, I did it right back! He thought it was absolutely hilarious. So, just so you know—6/7 is apparently a thing in Italy, too!
Take a look at some of my favorite photos from the trip below. I’m looking forward to hearing all about your summer adventures when we get back to school!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Lander
