Helping children be their very best requires teamwork between the parents, the teacher and the student. Each of us is a piece of a puzzle that when completed, makes your child's year successful.
The Parents' Piece

*Support the school discipline policy
*Attend conferences
* Stay aware of what my child is expected to learn and his/her progress
*Attend school functions, read newsletters, and bulletins
* Have a quiet area at home for my child to study
* Help my child grow to his/her fullest potential
The Student's Piece
*Come to learn
* Turn in assignments on time and done to the best of my ability
*Obey classroom and school rules
*Work cooperatively with my classmates and adults
*Show respect for myself, the school, the staff, and the community
*Take pride in my school
*Bring all needed supplies to my classroom
*Read at least 30 minutes a day
*Complete and turn in homework
* Believe I can and will learn

* I believe every child is unique and has special gifts and abilities
