🖨️ Printing an Email
To print an email directly from Gmail:
Open the message you want to print.
Click the printer icon 🖨️ in the upper-right corner of the message window.
Adjust your printer and page settings as needed, then click Print.
This method ensures your email prints cleanly—without the clutter of the Gmail interface.
If your emails look too small on screen or when printed, you can increase Gmail’s default font size for new messages.
This won’t change older emails, but it will make your future messages easier to read and print.
Click the ⚙️ Gear icon in Gmail and select “See all settings.”
In the General tab, scroll down to Default text style.
Click the “tT” button to select a larger font size.
(Optional) You can also adjust the font type and color here if desired.
Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes.
Your new settings will apply to all newly composed messages moving forward.
💬 Pro Tip: If text still appears too small when printed, check your browser’s print preview zoom setting—it can override Gmail’s font size.
đź’¬ Pro Tip: For important or formal messages, use a standard, easy-to-read font like Arial or Verdana to ensure clarity both on screen and on paper.
💬 Pro Tip: Want to make reading easier without changing your send font? Use Ctrl + Plus (+) or Ctrl + Minus (–) (Windows) or Command + Plus/Minus (Mac) to quickly zoom in or out on your screen.
