To find your phone’s extension, simply lift the handset and look at the upper-left corner of the display. You'll see a six-digit number—that’s your extension. Every phone now uses a six-digit extension, which combines what used to be your site number and site extension.
For example: At the district office, the site prefix is "50". If you used to dial 1201 to call your neighbor in the room next door, you would now dial 501201. The new phone extension keeps the same last four digits, but adds a new prefix to the beginning.
