Why should you get involved in "Synthesizing Practices"?

Talk about your experiences with art history:

  • This project is a way for you to add your voice to the conversation around the significance of learning about art and visual culture - especially important in light of society’s ever-increasing focus on STEM majors and careers.
  • It's a great opportunity to expand your platform as a maker, writer, learner, thinker, collaborator....
  • You get to talk about your work, your interests, and what brought you to study art history.
  • It's a chance to contribute to documentation about the arts and student/alumni experiences.

How it works:

  • Participation in Synthesizing Practices would require approximately 30 minutes of your time for a Zoom video interview. We can schedule the interview for a day and time that works best for you.

What else?

  • Please read the "informed consent" page - this might sound intimidating and overly-official, but "informed consent" is just a list that outlines expectations around the interview process.
