There are around 17,000 people living in Capitol Hill. They provide that there is a Cal Anderson Park that allows people to congregate, and a natural environment for people to come together. It is even called the "front porch" of Capitol Hill. They also provide virtual strolls and workshop opportunities.

Capitol Hill was also subject to being racially prejudice against Non-white civilians, specifically African Americans. In 1927, white homeowners from the Community Club began a campaign to change all of the deeds in the area.
