I was the principal investigator (PI) of two individual research projects funded by Polish institutions, the National Science Centre and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. I was also involved in other projects, including the ERC Consolidator Grant and the ERC Proof of Concept Grant led by Prof. Katarzyna Marciniak at the University of Warsaw.
2021–2025 Informational Children's Book in the 21st Century: Trends – Research methods – Models of reading
The project focused on the identification and interpretation of 21st-century informational books for children, establishing new analytical tools and a model of reading that fosters a critical approach to knowledge acquisition.
Funding: 107 063 PLN for years 2021–2025 granted by the National Science Centre (Poland) as part of the Preludium Program (no. 2020/37/N/HS2/00312).

2016–2023 Oczami dziecka. Zagłada w polskiej literaturze dziecięcej i młodzieżowej po roku 1989 [Through the Eyes of a Child. The Holocaust in Polish Children’s and Young Adult Literature after 1989]
The project focused on the description and interpretation of Polish literature (including its international context) aimed at child readers, created in the 20th and early 21st centuries, that touched on the subject of the Holocaust.
Funding: 179 871 PLN for years 2016–2020 granted by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education as part of the “Diamentowy Grant” Program (no. DI2015 013145).
