Description of School
"Alpha First Medical Academy was founded by sisters-in-law registered nurse duo who wanted to make a difference in their community. We are associated with HeadMaster and can test nursing assistance in person for written and practical test at our school. After their years of prior nursing experience, they realized they wanted to have a more profound, positive impact on the health of those in their community.
It was their passion for helping others that inspired them to extend their reach even further. They wanted to be able to have a more profound, positive impact on the health of those in their community. This led them to open Alpha First Medical Academy. A female-owned school that is patient-centered, evidence-based, and fun! Where everyone is welcome to come and learn.

Programs Offered
Theory: Students will read from the provided book, learn through lectures and videos about the skills you need to be a CNA. There will be quizzes that prepare you for your final exam and ultimately, the certification exam. We teach you to know your theory and skills, so you feel confident every step of the way to be the best CNA possible and to pass the certification test!
Skills Lab: Our state-of-the-art skills lab offers a real-life skilled nursing room that feels right inside our school. With all the equipment you will see in your patient's room in real-life, we teach you in the up-to-date lab where you will get ample time to practice what you have learned in the theory portion of the course.
Clinical: Did we mention both Emily and Kiran work in Skilled Nursing settings? Why is that a good thing? Because they know exactly what they are doing in this setting. Clinicals are the students' hands-on experience with real residents and patients. You will be paired with competent and experience CNAs to work alongside them and learn from them. The information you have learned in theory and in the skills lab will be put into practice. And don't be nervous! It will be a great, fun learning experience that we will be there for right alongside you!

CPR can double or even triple survival rates if administered right away. Yet without proper first aid training, those precious moments after cardiac arrest often pass without action. Among U.S. adults who experience an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, less than half receive life-saving CPR from a bystander.
At Alpha First Medical Academy, we want to change that statistic. As American Heart Association certified CPR instructors serving Petaluma and Sonoma County, we offer a variety of in-person CPR courses for both healthcare professionals and the general public. Our classes give you the skills and confidence to act quickly and save lives in the event of an emergency. Whether you need CPR certification for work or just want to be prepared, we have a class that fits your needs.
