Each Sunday morning we gather from 9:00 am to 10:45 am, both on Google Meet and in the Purple Room at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lexington, KY. The meeting is divided into two parts and you are welcome to come to either part or both.
9:00 to 9:30: Silent Meditation - on-site only at UUCL
(9:30 to 9:45: Break)
9:45 to 10:45: Sangha Group Discussion - hybrid
Each meeting has a different leader. They share a topic topic or lead in the weekly reading we have collectively selected and follows a script.
We are a small group who meets weekly to meditate and discuss a Buddhist Topic. We seek to understand Buddhist teachings and apply its principles to our lives. Not all people who attend our group identify themselves as Buddhist or have any affiliation to the Unitarian Universalist Church. In fact, we have a variety of faiths represented in our group. Our group is open to all without regard to religious affiliation, spiritual path, race, age, economic status, physical ability, gender expression, or sexual orientation.
