FYP MCO 3.0

Dear FYP students,

Due to the latest MCO announcement, the campus will be closed for all final year project students until the end of this semester. Unfortunately, you will not be allowed to enter the campus or work in your respective i-Kohzas unless a new SOP announced.

We understand that this new arrangement will affect your final year project. Please discuss with your supervisor on changing your FYP work scope or FYP mode. Referring to Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) Guideline No. 005 for Teaching and Learning Implementation during COVID-19 pandemic, FYP modes allowed are:

As for FYP2 completion date, we understand that some of you will need more time to complete the FYP work with these changes. We also realized that some of FYP students have yet to take Industrial Training and the FYP extension will cause some clashes in your schedule. Therefore, we offer FOUR options for FYP completion date and for industrial training students, we suggest that you do the industrial training under your i-Kohza, and therefore both FYP and Industrial training can run concurrently. How to do critical review FYP mode?

The critical review mode is the newest option being offered and in order to maintain the standard of such project mode, we would like to invite all FYP students and their supervisors to attend a talk on ‘Critical Review FYP Mode’ by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mahmoud El-sayed Nasef.
