Course Description
"Students will in engage in both practicum experiences and self-directed scholarship to explore the development of the Doctor of Nursing Practice role and its unique contributions of clinical leadership within an interdisciplinary and dynamic healthcare environment. Students will cumulatively refine and state the tenets of their personalized conceptual/theoretical framework derived from nursing theories and related sciences to better healthcare practice outcomes and disseminate findings as a DNP clinical leader. Students will identify a clinical area of interest, while applying the Domains and Competencies, to ethically improve healthcare outcomes for diverse populations."
