Essential Standards

While all the material in this course is important to your future math experience, the following material will be emphasized to best prepare you for success.

Essential Standard #1 - I understand the concept of a ratio and use ratio language to describe a ratio relationship between two quantities.

Essential Standard #2 - I understand a rational number as a point on the number line. Extend the number line diagrams and coordinate axes familiar from previous grades to represent points on the line and in the plane with negative number coordinates
