This track is for participants who will provide an engaging activity or performance in the Rotunda to showcase the magic of Utah's cultural industry to legislators, school groups, industry attendees, and the general public visiting the Capitol. We have space for 30-40 organizations to be represented in the Rotunda, either at a table or with a performance. If your organization would like to participate, please register as soon as possible to help us plan for the event. Priority will be given to those registered by December 19, 2025. We are working to have broad representation across the cultural industry in the Rotunda.
Limited Availability: 30-40 organizations // Time commitment: February 5, 2026 | 7:30 am-2:00 pm
Activities and Tabling
Priority will be given to organizations offering an interactive activity to engage with visitors instead of just paper collateral. We encourage each organization to send at least two people to staff their table. Please plan to stay the entire time. Organizations that leave early may not be invited to return in future years.
Performances
We love to bring the magic of live performances into the Rotunda. We encourage you to be creative. Please keep in mind the Rotunda has limited space, does not have a sound system, and the piano can be rented for a fee.
Schedule
7:30 am-8:30 am // Load-in & set-up in Rotunda
8:30 am-1:30 pm // Interactive activities in Rotunda [please plan to stay the entire time; organizations that leave early may not be invited to return in future years]
1:30 pm-2:00 pm // Load-out from Rotunda
Registration
Each activity or performance must have one lead who registers as the Rotunda Activity Lead - if there are questions, this is the person who will be contacted. An unlimited number of individuals can be registered as Rotunda Activity Support. Please register everyone who is attending from your organization so we can send information before the event and the event survey after the event, which helps us improve the event in future years.
Communicate with your legislators
We encourage organizations providing an activity or performance in the Rotunda to personally invite their legislators to visit them in the Rotunda to see the good work you are doing.
