Function Codes

A Function Code is how resources are tracked for in Emergency response. If there is an act of nature (flood, wind, wildfire...) that requires above and beyond "normal" duties a function code would be used.

Also if there is a special event where resources are going being used more then "normal" duties a function code would be used .

If there is a Human made incident where a person, company or insurance may be held liable (vandalism, sign damage, arson) then an A number would be assigned by your Regions Financial Analyst and reimbursement would be processed by them.
