ClearGuide: UDOT contracts with Iteris for both ClearGuide and ClearData for Probe Data Analytics. Probe data is collected from vehicle navigatino systems and cell phone applications anonymously. This provides speeds and travel times statewide down to the major collector.

PeMS: UDOT contracts with Iteris to provide PeMS which a is a data analitic system for point traffic data. UDOT currently maintains roughly 2,000 radar stations statewide. These radar stations collect speeds, vehicle counts, and vehicle lengths at single-points along Utah's major roadways.

ATSPMs: UDOT uses radar technology at all of our traffic signals to run signal detection. This radar technology is used to collect traffic movements to evaluate signal performace. 

Statistics: UDOT's planning group uses the same radar stations available in PeMS to extrapolate broad traffic statistics accross the state to provide VMT and AADT values. 

Occurance: Traffic occurance data represents UDOT's most granular radar detection data for vehicle speeds and vehicle lengths along UDOT's major roadways. This data is used to provide true speed profiles that are used in speed studies.
