Having a plan is only the first step toward preparedness. It is imperative you exercise your plan so employees know their roles and can effectively implement the plan during a continuity event. The more practiced you are, the more successfully your agency can recover.
Furthermore, your plan must have a method and schedule for evaluation (you can document previous plan evaluations by using a Plan Exercise Log). For your convenience, below is a sample exercise, feedback form, and improvement plan template.
