Overview

UDOT Planning focuses on the Department’s statewide transportation system to define long range planning, support emerging areas, and oversee project prioritization efforts.

We support the following programs:

• TravelWise

• Move Utah

• Solutions Development help guide UDOT’s commitment to move people, not cars, and help point UDOT towards planning and developing solutions.

• Studies assist in developing that implement our Quality of Life Framework: Better Mobility, Good Health, Connected Communities, and a Strong Economy.

We also work with transportation partners, communities, and the public to create our future transportation system.
