Wang Nan is one of the three table tennis players who have managed to win four Olympic gold medals. She was born left-handed and began playing table tennis at the age of seven. Her unique abilities include shifting the ball's placement during rallies and her loop drive, as well as her exceptional speed. She has won no less than 15 titles in her career, three in the singles event, five in the doubles event, six in the team event, and one in mixed doubles. She ended her career after the Beijing Olympics in 2022.
