Students will implement the group activity plan, emphasizing organized facilitation, strategic visualization, and active participation.

Before the NSTP Fieldwork
On the Pre-Fieldwork Documents: Ensure the submission of the medical certificate together with notarized guardian/parental consent.
On the Proper Attire: Wear the designated UST NSTP T-shirt, UST ID, jeans or jogging pants, and rubber shoes. Avoid wearing shorts, ripped jeans, slippers, or flip-flops. Refrain from heavy makeup and unnecessary accessories.
On the Personal Necessities: Bring personal necessities such as sun protection, a handkerchief or face mask, ample water supply, personal snacks, packed lunch, extra upper clothing, and personal medication.
Bring (Php 200 – Php 250) for the Bus fare, depending on the total number of students attending as 60% of the bus fares are subsidized by the University).
During NSTP Fieldwork
Attendance and Punctuality
Mandatory attendance for all NSTP students.
Anticipated absences must be reported in advance.
Upon arrival at the University, gather promptly inside the designated bus.
Latecomers will not be accommodated; notify the facilitator and wait for instruction 3 days after the fieldwork.
As per policy, catching up or solo travel to the community is not permitted if you arrive late.
Meal and Break Stopover
Eat breakfast before the fieldwork. Bring your packed lunch. There are no available food or drinks in the community.
Stopover is only for a restroom break to minimize disruption; water supply is limited.
Behavior in the Community
Avoid excessive noise, clustering, or loitering during free time. Engage and converse with people in the community. Observe the buddy system.
Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and the location of emergency exits. In case of any emergency, follow the instructions of NSTP facilitators.
If you have concerns, ask your facilitator first.
Respect to the Community
Be respectful to the community, respecting their culture, customs, and beliefs.
Remember that there is limited or almost no signal in the community.
Group Leader and Assistant Group Leader/Facilitator
Ensure overall coordination and execution of the group's activity plan.
Oversee the roles and responsibilities of each team member.
Provide guidance and support to maintain a smooth flow of the session.
Act as the primary contact between the group and the NSTP Facilitator.
Documentation Officer (Note Taker)
Take detailed notes on the interactions with the community.
Record essential information such as:
Who was involved?
What - what happened?
Where - where did it happen?
Why - why did it happen?
When - when did it happen?
How - how did it happen?
Ensure accuracy and completeness in note-taking.
Documentation Officer (Photo/Video Documentation)
In every part and phase, Capture at least 30 in-action photos and video clip of NSTP students' interactions with the community; interaction of NSTP students to NSTP Students and community to community.
Ensure clear and meaningful documentation aligned with the fieldwork theme.
Seek permission before capturing any visuals.
Logistics Officer (Creatives)
Helps to create visual aids
Manage the physical arrangement of the venue, ensuring a semi-circle formation.
Organize creative elements such as visual aids, ensuring they are strategically placed.
Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the area.
Assist with timekeeping to maintain the schedule.
Ice Breaker Officers
Facilitate engaging icebreaker activities as per the plan.
Ensure the active participation of NSTP students and community members.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere through the icebreaker.
Coordinate with other team members for a seamless transition to the main activities.
Health and Safety Officers
Create and ensure the implementation of health and safety protocols.
Monitor the well-being of participants and address any health concerns.
Coordinate with the Logistics Officer to create a safe and organized environment.
Be prepared to assist in case of any health-related incidents.
