Bengkulu province lies on the Southwest coast of the Indonesian island of Sumatra. Along the Indian Ocean coastline are Tapak Paderi beach and the main and longest beach of Pantai Panjang, lined with restaurants, shops, and hotels. It also features the 18th-century Fort Marlborough.
