TinigLaya is a creative agency committed to supporting advocacy campaigns across the Philippines to preserve Filipino culture and heritage.
We work with organizations, individuals, and local government units (LGUs) to strengthen their initiatives, providing strategic advice and resources to ensure their messages inspire action.
The founders of TinigLaya, who once rode the vibrant Manila jeepneys daily, were profoundly impacted by the industry's struggles. The shift towards modern, eco-friendly vehicles has created significant financial strain and uncertainty for many jeepney operators. Witnessing these difficulties firsthand, we felt a strong urge to act. What began as a small group of students interviewing jeepney drivers has grown into our core advocacy.
Recognizing the urgency, we have harnessed our creative skills to develop impactful campaigns that celebrate the jeepney’s rich heritage and advocate for practical support for its operators. Our efforts include collaborating with local communities, artists, and cultural advocates to create compelling narratives that emphasize the jeepney’s cultural significance. We work to amplify the voices of jeepney drivers and owners, fostering a broader understanding of their challenges and the importance of preserving this iconic symbol. Through these initiatives, we aim to drive meaningful change, ensuring that the jeepney’s vibrant presence continues to inspire and enrich Filipino culture for future generations.
We aim to be the leading force in cultural preservation and social change in the Philippines, fostering a future where Filipino heritage is valued, communities are empowered through collaboration, and advocacy efforts result in lasting positive change.
TinigLaya empowers Filipino communities by supporting advocacy campaigns that preserve and celebrate our cultural heritage. We work with organizations, individuals, and LGUs, providing strategic guidance and resources to inspire action and create social impact.
