Title: Asymptotic half-eigenvalues and the Ambrosetti-Prodi phenomenon

Abstract: In this talk, we present the main result of a paper to appear regarding nonuniqueness and exact multiplicity of solutions for some Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equations, which generalizes the Ambrosetti-Prodi theorem to a fully nonlinear context. Our strategy relies on half-eigenvalues of positively 1-homogeneous convex operators (which are asymptotic approximations of more general convex operators). This talk is based on joint work with Boyan Sirakov.
