Dr. Yates' book chapter in Bacterial Amyloids - Methods in Molecular Biology, vol 2538 entitled "High-Throughput Screening of Heterologous Functional Amyloids Using Escherichia coli" (linked here) is available!
Summer 2022
Summer research is underway! Dr. Yates and the rotational midshipmen interns (1/C Kaitlin Nachtrieb, 1/C Jackson Fuller, and 2/C Chloe Skogg) are at the US Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C.

Over Spring Break, Dr. Yates was honored to be a panelist on the 1st Annual Anne Arundel Community College Women in Science Virtual Panel and Networking.

Dr. Yates went to the 66th Annual Biophysical Society Meeting in San Francisco where she presented her research with NRL, chaired a panel, and was the Travel Award Ceremony Keynote speaker.
