The final grade in this course will be composed of the following items and their weights in the final grade computation:

LO1 - Individual Fitness Activity Plan - 20 %
LO2 - Individual Fitness Battery Test Performance - 20 %
LO3 - Group Individual Video Aerobics Routine Performance - 30 %

Passing Grade 75% (3.0) Passing Grade conditions: The learner must comply with the necessary requirements.
This course requires 18 weeks to complete the whole course. A student shall be dropped or failed from his/her class when the number of class hours missed reaches 20% of the total hours required by his/her course.

Tardiness
Students who are late fifteen (15) minutes after the start of class schedule shall be considered absent.
One (1) absence is considered half of the absence.
7 tardies-WARNING FOR DROPOUT
8 tardies - DROPPED/FAILED
P.E Class card will be used to monitor attendance as well as activities and performances for this semester.
Any student, for unavoidable reasons, is absent from a class must present a letter of excuse from the parent or guardian stating specifically the cause of absence.
The following are excused absences:
Illness
Vaccination
Family emergency
Students who have illnesses or health concerns are required to submit a medical certificate or document to verify the concern(s) and raise awareness among the instructor and other students.
CLASS INSTRUCTION:

*Any changes in the schedule will be announced prior to the schedule.
CLASSROOM POLICIES:
1. Wear an appropriate USEP P.E uniform and shoes for class.
2. Students are allowed a maximum of 3 absences regardless of excuse
3. Students exceeding the 15-minute grace period will be marked absent
4. It shall be the instructor’s prerogative to allow any student to make-up for a missed requirement upon presentation of proof of excuse
5. In order to receive credit for a final grade for a class, a student is required to attend class 85 percent of the days a class is offered.
6. Follow rules and regulations governing activities, and use of equipment.
7. Demonstrate an effort to perform required skills and apply them in related activities.
8. Demonstrate sportsmanship and respect for others through team and individual play.
9. Be a good role model for others.
10. Develop a lifelong knowledge for use of activities.
11. For safety purposes, NO JEWELRY may be worn during class activities. This includes bracelets, necklaces, watches and rings. All valuables, including jewelry, should be locked up during all classes. The Physical Education Department will not be responsible for lost or stolen jewelry etc..
12. Students unable to attend PE classes for health reasons must submit a due long-term medical certificate to the Head of the Physical Education
13. ALL untoward incidents should be reported IMMEDIATELY to your teacher, or the teacher in charge must secure a narrative report.
14. Gum is not allowed inside the USEP gym
Wearing a proper P.E. uniform during the class proper, performance tasks and activities are required.
