Mission Statement: The family school partnership program believes that parents, schools, families and communities working together can create meaningful partnerships that ultimately lead to significant gains across the board to prepare all students for post secondary pathways, and careers.
Purpose:
Bridges Utah Schools for the Blind will be governed by the statutory definition of parental and family engagement and will carry out programs, activities, and procedures in accordance with this definition.
Parental and family engagement means the participation of parents/guardians in regular, two-way and meaningful communication involving student academic learning and other school activities.
The family engagement team hosts two family events each school year. These events are open to all family members.
