What day do we have music?
Your student rotates through art, music, and PE on a three-day schedule that we call an "ABC rotation", accessible here.
Your child's homeroom class will attend a specials class (art, music, PE) for each day of the rotation. Their specials time stays the same every day, except for Wednesdays.

Where can I find Quaver? And what does that mean anyway?
A quaver is the British term for an eight note (ta-di) in music. It is also the name of one of our music curriculums! Most of your assignments during remote learning will be through Quaver. Your child can log on via their ClassLink app on their iPad to get to Quaver! If you have any difficulties please let me know or contact technology help.
Need help logging in? Watch this step-by-step video for how to access Quaver for the first time. Make sure your student has their QuickCard handy (it looks like a barcode or QR code with their name on it)!
3. How will remote music work anyway?
Your student will have a 15 minutes or so of face-to-face instruction during the beginning of music class. After the face-to-face learning time, students will independently work on additional music activities called "Music To Go" - these are opportunities to apply and practice their musical skills in a variety of ways! We will meet via WebEx and start there almost every day to begin class. Please bring your music bag, be ready to mute, and be ready to have fun! We will be talking about our new classroom procedures in our first lesson.
4. I have questions! Where do I go?!
