Recruit and retain student members
Monitor fundraising for trips
Track all expenses and deposits
Attend Training on new requirements for competition (annually)
Lead Weekly Meetings
Schedule and Plan all trips (Fall Leadership, Regionals, State and International)
Assist Students on competition projects
Prepare students for competition with practice test and role play scenarios
Monitor Community service project (requirement of DECA)
Attend Summer training (if Liberal has a State Officer)
Supervise Spirit Box vending machine (Filling, maintenance, tracking)
Make Bi-weekly trips to garden city Sam’s Club to purchase items for Spirit Box
*Advisor Responsibilities on Trips: Supervise all students Ensure all students are attending all required events, sessions, etc. Work competition events - While students are competing DECA advisors are assigned and event to run for the day or judge Attend all advisors update sessions Supervise dances and social gatherings
