Here are some links to fun and helpful resources for all ages!

Dr. Selfridge Music - This is a Youtube channel led by Dr. Selfridge. He is an awesome band director who makes really informative and fun videos about beginning band basics as well as some pop tunes to learn on your instrument! He also has a website with the same information laid out a little differently.

One Size Fits All Band Book - This is a great website full of free music for you to play! You can sort by rating (the lower the number, the easier the song), event, origin, and title! Peruse around and see what you find!

8Notes - This is a website with lots of free music. If you want full access to printing you have to pay for a subscription, but I like to use the free version and just play off of my device for some fun practice. There is a TON of music on here, and you might have to scroll around for a bit to find the music for your specific instrument. Just keep looking and exploring! Lot's of great options!

MusicTheory.net - This is a fantastic website full of music theory resources. There are tons of lessons and exercises to help you practice things like note names and rhythms. Mrs. Janssen would love to help you navigate this site if you have any questions!

Mrs. Janssen's Youtube Channel - This channel doesn't have a whole lot on it now, but I hope to put up some fun videos over the course of the next several weeks. There might even be some guest stars!

Concert Band Music Sites - JWPepper and Stanton's Sheet Music are two distributors of sheet music. They oftentimes have recordings of the music we play in class. Just type the title in the search bar of the website and see what you can find! Make sure you double check the composer and arranger before you listen, so you know you have the right version of that piece of music.
