Mrs. Haley Schmitz
Sponsor
Mrs. Schmitz has been teaching Computer Science classes at Washburn Rural since Fall 2021. Since coming to WRHS, Schmitz started a Coding Club and our first ever chapter of Computer Science Honor Society. She is very passionate about offering opportunities not only to high school students but all students in our Auburn-Washburn Community. In addition to CSHS, Mrs. Schmitz is an assistant volleyball and basketball coach and runs our KAY Service Club.
In her free time, Mrs. Schmitz enjoys going on walks, reading, listening to music, making small coding projects, and playing video games and board games. Schmitz also enjoys spending time with her husband, Mr. Schmitz, and their four pets.
