Using an Hour of Code from CodeHS.com, Computer Science Honor Society students lead our honors biology students through an hour of code that connects right to their genetics unit. Throughout one class period, CSHS members lead students through some basic coding concepts. Without any prior coding knowledge, students are able to input allele values and see a completed punnett square as their result. Some students were challenge to see if they could successfully make adaptations to the code to output the results of a dihybrid punnett square.
