Enrollment Information

TESTING AT SCHOOL

The following formal testing will take place at school each year. 

FastBridge FastTrack Reading (required 6-12): Takes place three times a year; usually at the  end of August, end of Nov/first of December and in April

FastBridge FastTrack Math (required 6-12): Takes place three times a year; usually at the  end of August, end of Nov/first of December and in April

FastBridge mySAEBRS (we would like for all 6-12 to take it): Parent permission is needed for this. We included this form at enrollment. These permission slips last for 4 months and will cover the September and November testing dates. We will ask parents to sign permission slips again at Spring conferences so we can give mySAEBRS again in April.

Kansas Communities that Care (we would like for 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th graders to take this): The testing window is October-January. We try to give it in October.

PreACT 8/9 (required of all Freshmen): First week of October (October 1, 2025)

PreACT (required of all Sophomores): First week of October (October 1, 2025)

ACT WorkKeys (offered to all Juniors): First week of October (October 1, 2025). Mrs. Ackerman will ask students in August if they want to take this test. 

Student Perception Survey (6-12): This survey is locally created to examine the needs of our district. At the same time we will ask for parents and staff to take a survey as well to help us identify areas of strengths and weaknesses. We usually have students do this in October. 

ACT (offered to all Juniors): Last Tuesday of February (February 24, 2026). Mrs. Ackerman will reach out to students in November to sign up for the ACT.

State Assessments (6-8th and 10th take reading and math; 8th and 11th take science; Social Studies is project based and done in 7th and 11th grades during class time): State testing window is March 23-April 24th. We will likely test March 30-April 16th at the high school.
