The ACT WorkKeys is an assessment that measures a persons career readiness and employability skills. KSDE pays for juniors to take this once during high school. This year the test is on October 1, 2025. It is optional, however Mrs. Ackerman needs to know if your student wants to take the test by August 19th. There are three sections to the test: Applied Math, Graphic Literacy and Workplace Documents. Taking the ACT WorkKeys may be beneficial to some students who are going directly into the workforce. Based on your results you will earn a National Career Readiness Certificate/Badge. This can be utilized with some employers to prove your skill level.
