**Events are subject to change and unannounced points will be given
for StuCo Homeroom competitions, AND fewest tardies and
non-school-related absences throughout the year!**
Students must check in with the designated sponsor(s) at the beginning of the event - immediately before or within the first 30 minutes of the event, unless otherwise specified by the designated sponsor.
If the student is involved in the event in any way that requires him/her to attend the event, he/she WILL be counted in the class total percentage. Additionally, if a student is required to attend another school sponsored event, and thus unable to attend a COTY event, he/she WILL be counted in the class total percentage. New students will be exempt from COTY events prior to their enrollment.
Students who are considered ineligible or “Not in Good Standing,” or who are unable to attend school events due to suspension will still be included in the class overall percentage.
Class winners will be announced after each COTY event, and overall percentages and point totals will be recorded in a communal space for students.
To be eligible for the class reward, a student must attend 50% of the COTY events, including those he/she participates in. Students who are ineligible or “Not in Good Standing” will not be eligible for class rewards, regardless of the overall percentage of attendance to COTY events.A winning class will be announced for each quarter of the school year and will receive a reward. Each new nine weeks will start with a fresh point total for each class; however, running class point totals from each quarter will be kept throughout the school year to determine the overall winning class. The overall winning class will receive an out-of-school reward at the end of the school year.
