About the Scholarship
After working aas the Board of Education Clerk for USD 240 for 47 years, Janice Stenfors Schmidt retired in 2010. It was during her retirement party that Schmidt was surprised with the gift of a scholarship in her name.
Family, friends, and co-workers pooled their funds to start the Janice Stenfors Schmidt Scholarship, which will benefit students graduating from Bennington High School for years to come.
