The purpose of Academic Enrichment is for students to improve study skills while receiving academic help in the core subjects. We believe, with guidance, students can improve their skills as they learn.
Be Prepared for class with all the necessary supplies and textbooks.
Take responsibility for your learning – ask questions, complete work, and keep a positive attitude.
Allow the teachers to teach and assist all students.
Allow others to learn and study.
Advocate for yourself.
Only water bottles with water are allowed.
No food allowed in the classroom without permission.
Chromebooks must be charged prior to school. Charging the Chromebook will not be permitted in the classroom.
Use Chromebook as directed by the teacher and for educational purposes.
Cell phones should be turned off and stored in backpacks.
Smartwatches are to be silenced and may not be used without permission.
Disruption:
First offense is a 20-minute detention.
Second offence is a 50-minute detention.
Defiance: First offense is a 50-minute detention.
Cell Phone/Smartwatches: First offense is teacher confiscating the phone. Second offence is confiscating the phone and 20-minute detention.
Messaging on Chromebook: First offense is a warning. Second Offense is Chromebook confiscated. Third offence is a 20-minute detention.
Electronic Devices: First offence is 50-minute detention.
