Hello! I am the Title I teacher, Junior High English teacher, school librarian, and Junior High Track coach at Hanover. I began my career twenty years ago as a junior high/elementary teacher, and this will be my eighth year at Hanover Public School.
I look forward to an awesome, fun year of learning!
My Goal:
My goal is to engage students and find ways that help them understand the material while fostering a love for learning. In addition, I hope to help students understand that mistakes are learning moments that allows a person to grow while keeping a positive mindset.
My Credentials:
In 2001, I graduated from Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with a Bachelor's of Art Degree in Education with a concentration in elementary education and physical education. I also received my Lutheran Teacher's Diploma (LTD).
I graduated in 2020 from Baker University with a Master's of Art in Education (MAEd) with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction.
Personal Background:
My husband, Kevin, and our two boys, Kolton and Kyle, live on the family farm in the Bremen area. We enjoy working on the farm, watching our boys' sporting events, and traveling to my home state, Montana, as well as a few other activities. During my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking, and relaxing.
