How to setup Zoom for Online Classes:
Sign up for an account by going to zoom.us.
Click the "Sign up" button in the top left area of your browser.
Using your USD116 Credentials create and account.
Go to "My Account.
Select "Schedule and Meeting" on the menu bar at the top.
Enter any information you need to convey and optionally set a password for you session.
Consider checking the "Mute participants upon entry" under the "Meeting Options" tab,
Share your unique "Join URL" Google Classroom or email so then can join the session.
Insure that everyone joining the session has downloaded the zoom app.
Select start meeting and choose join using computer audio.
Please make note of all preferences, specifically the "Chat" feature with allows you to correspond with your students with options to allow voice, text, or muting controls.
To record the lesson click on the "Record" button at the bottom of the screen and select between saving the video to the cloud or locally on your device.
To Share your screen click the "share screen" button at the bottom and choose which screen your want to show.
To end the meeting simply click the "end meeting" button at the bottom on the screen.

Sign up is an easy process using your USD116 Gmail. Simply click the "Sign up" button in the top right corner and fill out any pertinent information e.g. what school you're teaching at (Help). Share to Classroom -- Google Classroom Teachers: Save time and create a more interactive class with the Share to Classroom extension. The extension allows you to push webpages to any of your Classroom classes, so they open instantly on your students' computers. With this extension, you can get your students on the right page, quickly and reliably every time. You can also post announcements, create assignments, or save webpages to then post to Classroom later.
Students: The Share to Classroom extension gets you to webpages your teacher shares, without you having to type out the whole URL. You can also push web pages directly to your teacher.
Save to Google Drive -- This extension allow you to save web content directly to Google Drive through a browser action or context menu. You can save documents, images, and HTML5 audio and video all by right clicking and selecting 'Save to Google Drive'. You can save the currently viewed page using the 'Save to Google Drive' browser action. The directory location and format of saved HTML pages can be controlled with the extension's options page (Choice of Entire image (default), Visible image, Raw HTML, MHTML, or Google Doc). You can automatically convert Microsoft Office files or comma separated files to Google Docs format.

CITL's Virtual Reality Lab serves as a research and testing grounds for faculty and students interested in exploring the educational potential of existing VR experiences, or in developing and testing their own VR content. The VR Lab features a full room wireless VR experience (16'x 16') with a HTC Vive Pro head mounted display. In addition, we have an Oculus Rift used primarily for seated VR experiences like flight simulation. In the past year we're expanded to include a variety of standalone headsets including the Oculus GO, Lenovo Mirage, and the brand new Oculus Quest.

Fab Lab is short for Fabrication Laboratory. We are a specific kind of Makerspace.
Physically, our Fab Lab is an advanced workshop space for rapid prototyping and computer-based design. It is also comprised of a network of a number of smaller mini or mobile fab lab spaces.
The on-campus location has an impressive suite of fabrication machines, including laser engravers, CNC routers, 3D printers and 3D scanners, electronic cutters, digital textile machines, small board electronics, robotics, vacuum formers, graphic drawing tablets, advanced CAD software and more. Classes for up to 50 participants can be held at the main campus location. The lab is consistently collaborating on grant projects with community partners locally to provide similar tools and—more importantly—programming for hundreds of patrons spread across a variety of other locations, including several public libraries and after-school centers.

How to add/install:
Open your Chrome browser.
Type in Chrome Web Store in your URL/search bar.
Type "Screencastify" in the Chrome Web Store bar.
Click the "Add to Chrome" button.
A pop-up box will appear saying "Add "Screencastify - Screen Video Recorder"; select "Add extension".
Select "Turn Sync On" after the extension is added to your browser (This adds the extension to any browser on any computer you're currently logged into.
Click on the new "Screencastify" extension in the top-right part of your browser window.
Sign in to your USD116 Gmail account (This allows you to instantly save all videos created to your Google Drive).

Plickers -- a free, interactive tech tool that uses printable “paper clickers” instead of clicker devices. Each student is assigned a unique Plickers card that has a black and white image similar to a QR code. The letters A, B, C, and D are written in small print around the edge of the image, with one letter on each side of the card. During the lesson, the teacher displays a multiple-choice or true-false question. Then students hold up their Plickers cards and rotate them to indicate which answer they think is correct. The teacher scans all of the response cards at once, using the Plickers app installed on a mobile device.
