Creative Research and the Assembling of Fragments

A presentation of my current assemblage work that draws inspiration and constant nourishment from deep roots of family history, mythology and folklore, cultural symbols, archetypal dramas, subconscious architecture, the residue of dreams, and a personal arrangement of memory.  I will reflect and talk about my research activities involving the collection of what I believe to be fragments of a visual dialogue, and the reassembling of them into the stories that they needed to become.

Dr. Amy Elliott

Health Research - more than an academic exercise

Dr. Elliott will discuss building a comprehensive research program that is designed to maximize impact on care delivery and outcomes within a rural integrated health system.  This impact can occur within the context of prolific manuscript writing and securing external funding, which are the more typical benchmarks of a successful research program.  This presentation will illustrate how to leverage research in to influence standards of care, health system priorities, and health policy.
