Chiesman Educational Projects

The Public Service Colloquium is an annual event held to allow political science and criminal justice students to present their final projects in front of an audience. The Chiesman Center for Democracy aids in funding the event, which showcases projects across many facets of political science and criminal justice.

The USD History Graduate Program Cenennial Conference and Reunion was a day-long series of panels devoted to history scholarship and the history professions to honor the 100th anniversary of the Master of Arts in History at USD.  The program was held in September 2022 and included four panels of history scholars, three panels of history practitioners, a poetry reading, and a short lecture on the history of the MA program.
