NATIONAL COLLEGE MATCH
FOR HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS
Meet our newest college partners
We are excited to have partnered with Smith College and Johns Hopkins University. With the addition of these two schools, students now have 50 schools and universities they can choose from to rank for a shot at a full four-year scholarship.
Essay prompts
Applicants will need to write one personal essay (800-word limit) and one topical essay (500-word limit). Please share the 2023 National College Match essay prompts and essay resources with students who may be interested in applying.
Teacher recommendations
Applicants will need two recommendations from high school teachers in core academic subjects, preferably from 11th grade. Additionally, high school counselors will need to submit a School Report for the student.
Standardized test requirements
We encourage applicants to enter any available test scores in their application, but test scores are not required to apply. Applications are reviewed holistically, so students who do not have test scores can still be selected as Finalists; however, they should ensure they meet the standardized testing requirements for each college partner they're interested in.
