EE 477 Sec. 34511D Assignments
Please note assignments are in reverse order. The newest assignments are at the top.
4/12/03 I have posted lab assignment 3. It is due the last day of class, May 2, 2003.
4/8/03 I have posted the solution to homework assignment 6 that has been prepared by Sharath Kannareddy, except for the static power problem. I take total responsibility for any resulting confusion on that problem!
4/5/03 I have posted the solution to homework assignment 5 that has been carefully prepared by Edwin Mercado. Note that in the drawing Edwin shows a 4 lambda spacing for the drain diffusion length, but in the text it is 5, so you should use the 5 lambda number. Also, in the output resistance calculation Edwin has two contacts, but in the worst-case path, there is one. This is a very difficult assignment to get completely exactly correct. I'm grading them now, and there are a lot of little things I will point out to each of you as it occurs.
4/1/03 I have posted homework assignment 6 due April 8. The solution will be posted the evening of April 8.
3/7/03 I have posted homework assignment 5 due March 25, and lab assignment 2 due March 28. Please note that the ratio of betas in lab 1 was to mean assuming equal size NMOS and PMOS transistors. In other words, the mobility of the NMOS transistors was twice the mobility of the PMOS transistors. If you interpreted this differently, please note your assumptions when you turn in the lab, and fix it on lab 2.
2/18/03 I have posted a solution to homework 4 prepared by Sharath Kannareddy. A flash version of problem 10 on homework 2 has been posted. I added metal patterning to the original poly fabrication that was part of a previous semester's assignment.
2/18/03 I have posted a solution to homework 3 and and an addemdum to homework assignment 1.
2/18/03 I have posted a page describing the entire design project (labs 1 -4), and laboratory assignment 1. Part A of Lab 1 is due Feb. 28, 2003 and Part B of Lab 1 is due March 7, 2003.
2/13/03 I have posted homework assignment 4. It is due Feb. 21, 2003 (note I have extended the deadline). Problems 8 and 9 are pretty short, but you might want to wait until after the Tues. lecture to do them.
2/06/03 I have posted the solution to homework assignment 2 prepared by Sharath Kannareddy.
2/06/03 I have posted homework assignment 3. It is due 2/13/03 at 3 PM.
2/06/03 I have posted the solution to homework assignment 1 prepared by Edwin Mercado.
1/31/03 I have posted homework assignment 2. It is due 2/6/03 at 3 PM in EE B 300. It should take less time than Homework 1.
1/23/03 I have posted homework assignment 1. It is due 1/30/03 at 3 PM in EEB 300.
