Kenneth Santos, oboe

Gian D'Agostino is a saxophonist and woodwind doubler from Wakefield, Rhode Island, returning to SMA after his first year in 2024. He is currently a music student at Boston University, where he studies saxophone performance with Dr. Jennifer Bill and Kenneth Radnofsky. At BU, Gian performs with the Wind Ensemble, Saxophone Ensemble, and has also performed on all five woodwinds in BU's Concert Band. He has previously studied with the RI Philharmonic Music School, New England Conservatory Prep School, and took saxophone lessons at URI with Dr. Amon. He is passionate about diverse programming and cultivating an inclusive environment in classical music. Outside of music, Gian is also a mathematics student and competes in Olympic-style Weightlifting.

Isabel Corson is a French horn player from Cranston, Rhode Island, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in French Horn Performance at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where she studies under David Byrd-Marrow. At Oberlin, she actively plays with orchestras, horn ensemble, and horn quartets. She is also a founding member of the Corson Quintet, a woodwind quintet dedicated to exploring diverse repertoire and collaborative music-making. Passionate about both orchestral and chamber music, Isabel is committed to continuing her artistic growth and sharing her musical experiences with audiences. She looks forward to expanding her musical career while also building connections through music.

Ashley Silva is a clarinetist from Southeastern MA. She is a current URI student studying Music Therapy. Her primary instrument is the clarinet, and she has been playing the clarinet for 10+ years. She has also picked up her second instrument, the alto saxophone, and has been playing that instrument for 5+ years. At URI she has performed in various ensembles, such as the Wind Ensemble, the Clarinet Ensemble, and Pep Band, playing the clarinet. She is also part of the URI Marching Band, playing the alto saxophone. As part of her major, she will be learning two other instruments, the guitar and piano. She is looking forward to working with and helping the students this summer during camp.
