I have two moments that will stay with me from this PFE. The first came when I was recreating the Friends brochure. I organized the old brochure words into a mission and vision statements. The brochure template I used in Canva.com had a section for Our Values. There were not true wording from the old brochure that would fit for this section. I created an acrostic poem with ideas that I found from the Friends old brochure, flyers, and past newsletters. I thought I was clever and the Friends liked how it turned out. We did adjust the wording a bit. While creating the first poem, I did not keep the same tense in each line. With the boards help, we created a more polished poem for their value statement.

The second amazing thing was when I demonstrated what a Google Drive was, how to find it, the different applications of each App and what Canva.com can do for marketing materials. All but one board member set up and attended scheduled personalized lessons over the next 8 weeks. When I received my first shared folder for the agenda and minutes of the next Friends meeting, I was impressed with the result. The Canva.com work that they created and the excitement to show off what they created was the best. This is a small thing but it proved to me the dedication of this group. They truly work hard at what they do.
