In JROTC, you will be given the

chance to participate in your education and will learn to be a better citizen.

The program provides you with tools

and skills you can use to succeed in high school, but far more important,

these tools and skills will be useful for

the remainder of your life.


As Curtis Viking NJROTC Cadets we will strive to conduct ourselves in the highest ethical manner. We will be honest and truthful in our dealings with each other. And we will abide by an uncompromising code of integrity, taking responsibility for our actions and keeping our word.

About Curtis HS NJROTC

The Curtis High School Viking Company was founded in 2000 and has a history of excellence both in competitions and in the classroom. The unit is involved in the community and provides support for organizations and events throughout University Place and the South Sound area.

Awards Ceremony

Dear Viking Parents and Friends,

I would like to invite you to our annual “NJROTC Awards Night” to be held Wednesday

May 25th at 6:00 PM in the Curtis High School Theater. This ceremony will feature top JROTC ribbons and special awards presented by the CHS administration and area civic organizations. The entire ceremony should take approximately ninety minutes.

We hope that you can take a few minutes from your busy schedule to join us in celebrating the accomplishments of the Viking NJROTC Cadet Corps. Our Cadets have worked hard this school year and have earned many awards. I look forward to seeing you there.
